Install the lifting eye (23) to the lifting boss of the generator
(4).
NOTE : Make sure that the threads of the lifting eye (23) and the
____ generator lifting boss are in good condition. Lubricate the thread of the lifting eye (23) with OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(6)
Install the shackel with the quick-release pin (25) to the lifting
eye (23).
(7)
Operate the HOIST - MINILIFT and lift the generator (4) in position to the generator mounting flange.
(8)
Lubricate the generator splined-drive-shaft (6) with OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(9)
Install the generator (4) over the nuts (15) and turn it clockwise to engage the slots.
(10)
Make sure that the dowel pin (3) fully engages in the mounting flange of the accessory drive gearbox.
(11)
TORQUE the nuts (15) to between 3.9 and 4.4 m.daN (28.76 and 32.44 lbf.ft).
(12)
TORQUE the nuts (15) behind the generator terminal with an ADAPTER -TORQUE (Ref. TASK 20-21-11-911-001).

Clean the nuts of the APU generator with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(14)
Mark the tightened generator nuts with PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-560).
(15)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(16)
Connect the electrical connector (12) to the APU generator (4).
NOTE : Make sure that you connect the electrical cable connections
____
correctly to the APU generator terminal.
(17) Connect the electrical cables (20) with the washers (21) and the nuts
(19) to the APU generator (4) as follows:
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE WASHER IS INSTALLED BETWEEN THE PHASE
_______ LEADS AND THE TERMINAL NUT. IF NOT, THE TERMINAL BLOCK WILL BURN LOCALLY BECAUSE OF RESISTANCE HEATING.

cable 8XS-T2 to generator terminal T2,

cable 8XS-T3 to generator terminal T3,

cable 8XS- N to generator terminal N.

TORQUE the nuts (19) to between 17 and 18.4 lbf.ft (2.30 and 2.49 m.daN).

Install the cover plate (18) with the washers (16) and the screws (17).
(20)
TORQUE the screws (17) to between 0.43 and 0.47 m.daN (38.05 and
41.59 lbf.in).
(21)
Install the drain plug (14) with a new sealwasher (13).
(22)
TORQUE the drain plug (14) to between 2.95 and 3.25 m.daN (21.75 and
23.96 lbf.ft).
(23)
Safety the drain plug (14) with lockwire-corrosion resistant steel
0.8 mm (0.0314 in.) dia.
