A. Extension of the RAT NOTE : Make sure that a second mechanic examines the extension of the RAT

before you push the MAN ON/AUTO switch.
NOTE : Do not operate the deployment solenoids of the RAT for more than
____ 60 seconds. You can operate these solenoids more than one time during the test. When the total operation time (solenoid energized) is 60 seconds, a 30 minutes cooling time is mandatory.

control-unit 2815GE to get access
to the RAT control panel.
1. On the RAT control panel: At the zone 195:
-lift the red guard and set the - the RAT goes back in its housing, ARM switch to the up position, - make sure that the warning light goes
-set the STOW switch to the off after the retraction of the RAT, right position (STOW) and keep

CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE RAT IS RETRACTED COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU
_______ RELEASE THE "RAT STOW" SWITCH . IF THE RETRACTION SEQUENCE STOPS JUST BEFORE THE RAT ENTERS THE BAY IN THE FAIRTING THIS WILL CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE RAT ACTUATOR.
