Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the ECAM control panel:
-Push the ELEC key to get the ELEC system page.
(4)
On the lower ECAM display unit, make sure that the green lines between the EXT PWR and AC 1(2) are present.
(5)
Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002)
(6) De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

Start the engine 1(2) automatically (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
(2)
Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
(3)
On the ECAM control panel:
-Push the ELEC key to get the ELEC system page.
(4)
On the lower ECAM display unit, make sure that the green line between GEN 1(2) and AC 1(2) is present.
(5)
Do the EIS stop procedure
(Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-002)
(6)
Stop the engine 1(2) (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-028).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the access door (8) on L lower side of the panel 120VU.
(3)
Install the Third Occupant seat (Ref. TASK 25-11-41-400-001).
(4)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(5)
Close the access door 121AL.
(6)
Remove the access platform(s).

1. General

The AC auxiliary generation comes from the APU generator. This generator
can:
-in flight, replace either or both engine generator(s) in case of failure,
- on the ground, supply the aircraft electrical network when the electrical ground power unit is not available.

The APU generator is installed in the APU compartment. It is attached to the APU gearbox by a button hole flange.
