2. On the IDG 1(2): On the corresponding IDG:
-slowly pull out the disconnect - if you hear a click while you hold reset ring to the full limit of the disconnect reset ring, this shows travel. Monitor the hand force that the disconnect function operates that is necessary: this force correctly. must not be too high. The disconnect mechanism must move freely without hard points. Let the disconnect reset ring go slowly back to the initial position.

R - lift the guard and push the
R IDG1(2) pushbutton switch.
R 2. On the IDG 1(2):
R remove the screw (3) and
R desengage the loop clamp (2).
R slowly pull out the disconnect
R reset ring (1) to the full limit
R of travel. Monitor the hand force
R that is necessary: this force
R must not be too high. The
R disconnect mechanism must move
R freely without hard points.
R Let the disconnect reset ring (1)
R go slowly back to the initial
R position.
R 3. On the IDG 1(2):

R - install the loop clamp (2) on

R and attach the loop clamp with
R the screw (3). TORQUE the screw
R to between 20 and 22 lbf.in

R through (3), you must remove and
