C. Installation of the AC Current Transformer
FOR 42XU3, 42XU4
(Ref. Fig. 404A/TASK 24-22-17-991-003-A)
(1)
Put the disconnected cables through the current transformer (1). NOTE : Make sure that the location and the color of the cables of
____ each bundle agree with those you recorded at the removal.
(2)
Move the current transformer (1) along the cable bundles.

Install the washers (2) and the screws (3) on the current transformer
(1) and tighten them.
(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connector (4) and
electrical receptacle.
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the current transformer (1).
(7)
Install new cable ties.
(8)
Connect the cables (6) and (7) to the studs of the module 30XN1
(30XN2).
(9)
Install the washers (8) and the nuts (9) on the studs of the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(10)
TORQUE the nuts (9) to between 1.25 and 1.35 m.daN (110.61 and 119.46 lbf.in).
(11)
Connect the cables (10) to the studs of the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(12)
Install the washers (11) and the screws (12) on the studs of the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(13)
TORQUE the screws (12) to between 0.17 and 0.19 m.daN (15.04 and
16.81 lbf.in).
(14)
FOR 42XU3 In the rear panel 120VU, connect the related wires to pin 2 of the circuit breakers connected to the AC BUS 1 busbar 1XP.
(15)
FOR 42XU4 In the rear panel 120VU, connect the related wires to pin 2 of the circuit breakers connected to the AC BUS 2 busbar 2XP.
(16)
In the AC power center 123VU, connect the related wires to pin 2 of the circuit breakers 11QA and 12QA.
NOTE : Make sure that the location and the color of the cables agree

with those you recorded at the removal.
