In the cockpit, make sure that the warning notice(s) are in position to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches on these overhead panels:
-21VU (EMER ELEC PWR section),
-25VU (APU section),
-35VU (ELEC).

A. Installation of the Lightning Protection Module
(1)
Install the lightning protection module (3) on the three barrels (4) of the contactor base (5).
(2)
Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) and then tighten.
(3)
Do the electrical bonding (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-043).

A. Installation of the Lightning Protection Module
(1)
Install the lightning protection module (3) on the module 30XN1 (30XN2).
(2)
Install the screws (4) and the washers (5).
(3) TORQUE the screws (4) to between 0.73 and 0.81 m.daN (64.60 and 71.68 lbf.in).
(4) Install the bonding lead (2) of the lightning protection module (3) with the screw (1) then tighten.
(5) Do the electrical bonding (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-043).

In the cockpit, on the rear panel 120VU, open the panel which gives access to the AC power center 123VU.
(3)
Put the access platform in position at the access door 121AL.
(4)
Open the access door 121AL.

(1)
Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
(2)
Put a warning notice on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector to the aircraft EXT PWR receptacle.
