A. Indicating
1. Calibrationof Engine Oil PressureIndicating System
Checkcalibration of engineoil pressure indicatingsystem as follows:
(1.) Connect a pressure testerset with a calibratedtest gauge to oil transmitterusing appropriateAN fitting and pressure line. (Test set must be capable of providing and monitoring static pressures from0 -160 psi using engineoil.)
(2.) Turn ON aircraftmasterswitch.
(3.) Allow fittings to remain loose and position valve towards line.
(4.) Turn handle clockwise until air is bled from line (oil must drip from line). Tighten fitting.
(5.) Turn valve towardsreservoirand turn handle counterclockwise.
(6.) Turn valve towards line and turn handle clockwise again to attain high pressure of 135 psi.
(7.) Compare test gauge reading with oil pressure gauge reading.
(8.) Turn handle counterclockwise for a low pressure of 105 psi.
(9.) Againcomparetestgauge reading with oil pressuregaugereading.
NOTE: Tap test gauge to reduce frictionalerrors.
(10.)Begincheckingoil pressure system by following values in Chart 1. Keep within tolerances stipulated. (11.)Aftercompletingtest, turn tester valve to NEUTRAL (perpendicularto the line) and disconnecttester. (12.) Reconnect any lines previouslyremoved.

1. Oil Temperature Probe
The oil temperature probe is located on right side of engine accessorysectionbelow overboard breather port. The MS-28034-3unit can be tested for proper resistance if a discemable temperaturecanbe achieved. (Refer to Chart 2.) Install unit as follows:
(a) Lubricatenew MS-35768-8 gasketin engine oil and install on unit.
(b)Screw fitting assembly into boss unit until it bottoms tightly in engine fitting.
