For the applicable TRU, open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

Disconnect the electrical lead from the TRU:
(a)
Remove the nuts that attach the cover to the terminal block on the TRU.

Remove the terminal cover.
(c)
Attach an identification tag to each of the five terminal leads.
(d)
Remove the five screws that attach the five terminal leads to the TRU terminal block.
(e)
Remove the terminal leads from the TRU.

Remove the TRU:
(a)
Remove the four bolts that attach the TRU to the bulkhead.
(b)
Remove the TRU from the bulkhead.
(c)
Install the terminal block screws, the terminal cover, and the terminal cover nuts on the TRU.

Procedure

(1)
Install the TRU:
(a)
Put the TRU in its position on the bulkhead.
(b)
Install the four bolts that attach the TRU to the bulkhead.
(c)
Tighten the bolts.

(2)
Connect the electrical lead to the TRU:
(a)
Remove the nuts that attach the terminal block cover to the TRU.
(b)
Remove the terminal cover.
(c)
Remove the five screws from the terminal block of the TRU.
(d)
Put an electrical lead terminal on each screw.
CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT THE CORRECT TERMINAL LEAD TO EACH
_______ LOCATION ON THE TRU. AN INCORRECT INSTALLATION CAN CAUSE A MALFUNCTION OF THE CIRCUIT AND DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
(e)
Install the screws in the terminal block.
(f)
Tighten the screws.
(g)
Remove the identification tags from the terminal leads.
(h)
Put the terminal cover in its position on the TRU.
(i)
Install the nuts that attach the terminal cover to the TRU.
