APU BATTERY CHARGER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. One task removes the APU battery charger (M7431). The other task installs the APU battery charger.
B. The installation task includes an operational test of the APU battery charger.
C. The APU battery charger is installed on the E-33 equipment rack with the APU battery. The E-33 equipment rack is on the left side of the aft passenger cabin. Access to the E-33 equipment rack is through the E-33 access door.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE identifiers:

P183 Relay Panel
1) APU BATTERY CHGR OUTPUT
2) APU BATTERY CHARGER

Make sure the BATTERY switch, on the P5 panel, is set to OFF and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Remove the APU battery charger from the E-33 equipment rack (Ref 20-11-22/401).
