If the terminal lug, ground strap or stud is damaged, deformed, discolored or annealed, repair or replaced the terminal lug (SWPM 20-30-00).
NOTE: If the terminal lug is annealed, use a high temperature

(g) Make sure the terminal nuts are tight.
NOTE: Use the standard torque values for the terminal nuts

(h) Put the connector togerther and install the two (2) bolts.

Make sure the wires are centered in the connector openings.
(j)
Connect the electrical connector (DM7432B) to the APU battery receptacle.
(k)
Put the APU battery connector (DM7432A) into the receptacle on the APU battery. 1) Turn the knob on the connector clockwise with your hand
until it is tight. 2) Use sealing wire from the knob to one of the connector bolts.
NOTE: Sealing wire is 0.020 copper wire.

2) APU BATTERY BUS
(b)
On the P6 panel:

Make sure the APU battery operates correctly on the next APU start.
(5)
Remove electrical power, if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

MAIN BATTERY CHARGER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. One task is the removal of the main battery charger (M7422). The other task is the installation of the main battery charger.
B. The installation task includes an operational test of the main battery charger.
C. The main battery charger is installed in the E-30 equipment rack, with the four TRUs and the static inverter. The E-30 equipment rack is between the nose gear wheel well and the fuselage, on the right side. Access to the E-30 equipment rack is through an access opening forward of the E/E compartment.
