Install the Generator Control Current Transformer

Install the transformer:
(a)
Put the transformer in its position in the applicable panel.
(b)
Install the four screws that attach the transformer to the panel.
(c)
Tighten the screws.
(d)

D. Do a Test of the Generator Control Current Transformer

(1)
Supply electrical power to the main AC buses with external or APU generator power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

Set the UTILITY-L and UTILITY-R switches, on the P5 panel, to the latched position.

Set the GEN CONT switches, on the P5 panel, to the latched position.

Start two engines (AMM 71-00-00/201).
NOTE: The two engines that you start must be on opposite sides of
____ the airplane. One of the engines must drive the Integrated Drive Generator (IDG) related to the current transformer being tested. Use the table that follows to find the proper IDG.

Make sure the "OFF" lights on the GEN CONT switches on the P5 panel go off once the engines reach idle speed.

Make sure the "OPEN" light on the SPLIT SYSTEM BREAKER switch is off. The SPLIT SYSTEM BREAKER switch is on the P461 panel.

Get access to the electrical maintenance page (AMM 45-10-00/201).

Make sure the lower EICAS display shows the display that follows: 110 to 120 AC-V FREQ is 395 to 405 Hz LOAD for both generators are within .05 of each other.

Stop the engines (AMM 71-00-00/201).
