C. Install Relay

Position applicable relay in panel, aligning screw holes.

Install four screws securing relay to panel. Tighten screws.

Remove the two terminal covers, by removing screws securing covers.

Remove terminal nuts and washers from each of the terminal studs of the relay.

CAUTION: ENSURE EACH TERMINAL LEAD IS CONNECTED TO PROPER TERMINAL STUD
_______ ON RELAY. INCORRECT INSTALLATION WILL RESULT IN CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION AND/OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
MAKE SURE ROUND WASHERS ARE INSTALLED BETWEEN TERMINAL NUT AND PHASE LEAD. DO NOT INSTALL ANY WASHERS BENEATH PHASE LEADS. THIS WILL RESULT IN LOCALIZED RESISTANCE HEATING WHICH COULD CAUSE BURNING OF RELAY TERMINALS.

Connect lower terminal leads to lower terminal studs on relay and secure with washers and nuts. Tighten nuts.

Install lower terminal cover on relay.

Connect upper terminal leads to upper terminal studs on relay and secure with washers and nuts. Tighten nuts.

Install upper terminal cover on relay and secure with two screws. Tighten screws.

Close P715 panel access door.

On the Aux/Ext No. 2 Power Center, P715, make sure the EXT PWR, HOT BUS WARNING LIGHTS NO. 2 is on.

On the main cargo deck, make sure the power drive units (PDUs) operates (AMM 25-57-01/401).

Apply APU power to the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).
