SINGLE TRU OPERATION RELAY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has three tasks. The first task is the removal of the single TRU operation relay (R7225). The second task is the installation of the relay. The third task is an operational test of the relay.
B. Do the operational test after you install the relay.
C. The relay is installed in the P180 DC power distribution panel. The P180 panel is between the nose gear wheel well and the fuselage, on the right side. Access to the P180 panel is through an access opening, forward of the E/E compartment.

Procedure
(1)
Make sure all electrical power is off (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(2)
Open the access door on the P180 panel.
(3)
Remove the two screws that attach the relay to the panel.

Install the relay:
(a)
Put the relay in its position on the P180 panel.
(b)
Install the two screws that attach the relay to the panel.
(c)
Tighten the screws.

Do a Test of the Single TRU Operation Relay

CAUTION:_______DO NOT OPERATE THE APU DURING THIS TEST. TRANSIENTS CAN CAUSE AUTOSHUTDOWN AND DAMAGE TO THE PACKS AND APU.
(1) Supply external electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

(2) S 864-030Make sure the STORM switch, on the P5 panel, is set to OFF.
(3) S 864-031Open this circuit breaker to remove power from the ground service bus for the dome lights in the flight compartment: (a) P6, Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6F24, FLT DK LIGHTS DOME
