 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks. One task is the removal of the electrical-load control units (ELCU) (M3250, M3251, M3252, and M3253) for the utility power. The other task is the installation of the ELCU.
 B.  The utility power ELCUs are installed in the four generator power center panels P514, P515, P614, and P615. The panels are in the E/E compartment. Access to the E/E compartment is through the door behind the nose wheel or through the forward cargo compartment.

 (2)  Open the applicable panel to get access to the ELCU.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the ELCU.

Disconnect the electrical leads from the ELCU:

 (a)  
Remove the screws that attach the two terminal covers to the ELCU.

 (b)  
Remove the terminal covers.

 (c)  
Remove the nuts and the washers that attach the electrical leads to the terminal studs on the ELCU.

 (d)  
Attach an identification tag to each electrical lead.

 (e)  
Remove the electrical leads from the terminal studs.

Remove the ELCU:

 (a)  
Remove the four screws that attach the ELCU to the panel.

 (b)  
Remove the ELCU from the panel.

 (c)  
Install the terminal washers and the terminal nuts on the ELCU.
