_______ BREAKERS BEFORE YOU DO THE TEST. THE IGNITER PLUGS CAN AUTOMATICALLY FIRE IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS. WITH FUEL IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER, AN INTERNAL ENGINE OR TAILPIPE FIRE CAN OCCUR. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

(4) S 865-014Push the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches, on the P5 panel, to remove electrical power from the airplane. (a) Make sure the ON lights on the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches go off.
(5) S 215-117Examine the EICAS screens. (a) Make sure that data shows on the upper EICAS screen. (b) Make sure that data does not show on the lower EICAS screen.
(6) S 865-017Set the STANDBY POWER switch to BAT.
(7) S 715-074Examine the EICAS screens. (a) Make sure that data shows on the upper EICAS screen. (b) Make sure that data does not show on the lower EICAS screen.
(8) S 865-023Set the STANDBY POWER switch to AUTO.
(9) S 865-024Push the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches to supply electrical power to the airplane. (a) Make sure the ON lights on the EXT PWR 1 and 2 switches come on.
