_______ BREAKERS BEFORE YOU DO THE TEST. THE IGNITER PLUGS CAN AUTOMATICALLY FIRE IF YOU DO NOT OPEN THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS. WITH FUEL IN THE COMBUSTION CHAMBER, AN INTERNAL ENGINE OR TAILPIPE FIRE CAN OCCUR. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:

P6 Main Power Distribution Panel 1) 6F1, IGN 1 ENG 1 2) 6K19, IGN 2 ENG 1 3) 6G19, STBY IGN ENG 1 4) 6F2, IGN 1 ENG 2 5) 6K20, IGN 2 ENG 2 6) 6G20, STBY IGN ENG 2 7) 6F3, IGN 1 ENG 3 8) 6K21, IGN 2 ENG 3 9) 6G21, STBY IGN ENG 3 10) 6F4, IGN 1 ENG 4 11) 6K22, IGN 2 ENG 4 12) 6G22, STBY IGN ENG 4

Make sure the BATTERY switch, on the P5 panel, is set to ON.

Make sure the digital clock displays are on.
(c)

AC EXTERNAL POWER - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

General

A. External power supplied to the airplane is 115-volts ac and is connected through two external power receptacles, each rated for 90 kVA continuous operation. Both receptacles are located on the lower fuselage, aft of the nose gear, and supply power to the main load buses through their respective external power contactors (XPCs), bus tie breakers (BTBs), and the split system breaker (SSB).
