(1)
Put an access platform in postion at the potable-water service panel 171AL.
(2)
Open the panel and make sure that the drain control handle is in the NORM position.
(3)
Put an access platform in position at the AFT cargo compartment door.
(4)
Open the AFT cargo compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(5)
Remove the partition 161DW to get access to the thermostat and the terminal block 7510VT.

A. Removal of the Thermostat
(1)
Remove and discard the cable ties from the electrical wires.
(2)
Make match marks on all electrical wires before you disconnect them.
(3)
Disconnect the electrical connections (8) with the insertion-removal tool M15.570-20 from the terminal block 7510VT.
(4)
Remove the screws (4), the washer (2) and the nut (1).

Lift the thermostat-housing cover (3).

Loosen the threaded-sleeve (7) with a screw driver.

Remove the threaded-sleeve (7).
(8)
Remove the thermostat-housing (6) from the stud (5).
