Make sure that the access platform is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.

(1)
Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is open (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2)
Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is at ON.
(3)
Make sure that, in the FWD cargo compartment, the following panel(s) is(are) removed: FOR 4DW 131GW, 131HW FOR 16DW 131HW FOR 335DW 131HW, 131SW

Subtask 30-73-53-420-056
A. Installation of the Heater Elements WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THE SPECIAL

MATERIAL.
THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(1)
Clean the potable water line with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001) and a lint free cloth.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the heater element (9) in position on the potable water line.
(4)
Attach the heater element (9) to the potable water line with the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) (8) and with the heat-shrink sleeve (7).
(5)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(6)
Connect the three wires (10) of the heater element (9) to the terminal strip.
NOTE : Connect the electrical wires as identified during the removal
____
procedure.
(7) If necessary, install the potable-water de-icing sensor (10DW) (Ref. TASK 30-73-17-400-002).

(8) Insulate all the potable water lines with the insulation sleeve (5).
NOTE : Make sure that the electrical connections do not touch the

insulation sleeve (5).
(9) Put BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) (6) on the longitudinal cut of the insulation sleeve (5).
(10)
Install the insulation muffs (4), the adhesive tape and safety it with the velcro tape (3).
(11)
Install the spacers (1) and the clamps (2).
(12)
Attach the identification and warning labels with the new cable ties. NOTE : Do not damage the insulation sleeve (5) with the cable ties.
