Make sure that the access platform is in position.

Make sure that the access door 811 is open.

A. Installation of the Motor Converter CAUTION : IF THE WIPER ARM IS NOT INSTALLED, DO NOT OPERATE THE MOTOR
_______ CONVERTER. THIS WILL PREVENT INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE UNIT.
(1)
Install the packing (6) in the housing of the motor converter shaft on the structure.
(2)
From the manhole, put the wiper motor converter (4) in position on its support.
NOTE : Use a mirror to engage the converter output shaft.

(3)
In the cockpit, install the screws (2) and the washers (3) and tighten.
(4)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(5)
Connect the electrical connector (5).

B. Installation of adjacent components
(1) In the cockpit, install the panel (7).
(2) Install the wiper arm (1) (Ref. TASK 30-45-52-400-002). Subtask 30-45-51-865-052
C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 6DB1 1DB1, 4DB1, 5SQ1, 5SQ2 FOR 6DB2 1DB2, 4DB2, 5SQ1, 5SQ2

D. Test
(1) Do the functional test of the windshield rain protection (Ref. TASK 30-45-00-720-001).
