Put the access platform in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door

(2)
Open the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to ON.
(4)
Remove the access panel(s):

A. Removal of the Heater Elements
(1)
Open the protective cover (14).
(2)
FOR 4DW, 9DW Cut the ties that hold the label (1) and the CAUTION label (2). FOR 16DW Cut the ties that hold the label (1).
R (3) FOR 4DW, 9DW Remove the flow direction marker (3) and the DRINKING WATER marker (4). FOR 16DW Not applicable.

Remove the hook and loop tape (5).
(5)
Remove the adhesive tape (6).
(6)
Remove the insulation muffs (8).
(7)
Remove the adhesive tape (11) along the glass wool mat (7).
(8)
Remove the glass wool mat (7).
(9)
Disconnect the three wires of the heater elements (10) from the terminal block.
(10)
Remove the adhesive tape (9) from the pipe (12).
(11)
Remove the heater elements (10).
