C. Preparation for Installation
WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE THE SPECIAL_______ MATERIAL. THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(1) Remove the used sealant with a non-metallic scraper from the fuselage.
(2) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003).

(3) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. NOTE : Make sure that the drain mast-attachment screw-head recesses
____ have no signs of paint, corrosion or sealant because the drain mast bonding is made through the attachment screws.

THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(1)
Remove the used sealant with a non-metallic scraper from the fuselage.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area. CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003)
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area. NOTE : Make sure that the drain mast-attachment screw-head recesses
____ have no signs of paint, corrosion or sealant because the drain mast bonding is made through the attachment screws.
(4)
Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the drain mast pipe and the extensible bellows.

A. Installation of the Drain Mast
(1)
Install the drain mast (1) with the screws (2).
(2)
Remove the blanking plugs from the disconnected line ends.
(3)
Connect the sleeve (5) to the pipe end of the drain mast. NOTE : Make sure that the sleeve ends are on the color markings.

(4)
Tighten the clamps (4).
(5)
Put the insulation on the pipe end (3).
(6)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(7)
Connect the electrical connectors (6).
(8)
Attach the electrical wires with cable ties to the bracket.
(9)
Make a sealing bead with SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) around the drain mast (1) (Ref. TASK 51-76-11-300-001).
(10)
Make the contour of the sealant around the drain mast (1) smooth.
(11)
Let the sealant cure.
(12)
Apply STRUCTURE PAINTS (Material No. 16-003) to the sealant around the drain mast and the screw heads.

A. Installation of the Drain Mast
(1)
Position the drain mast (1) to the fuselage opening. CAUTION : BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU REMOVE/INSTALL THE BELLOWS FROM
_______ /TO THE DRAIN MAST PIPE. IF YOU CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE BELLOWS YOU MUST REPLACE IT. TO REPLACE THE BELLOWS IT IS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE CARGO FLOOR PANELS FOR ACCESS.
(2)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
