115 V AC is supplied from the normal busbar 110XP-B to the control unit 5DU
which controls the heater of the fwd drain mast 4DU.
115 V AC is supplied from the GND/FLT busbar 210XP-C to the control unit
15DU which controls the heater of the aft drain mast 14DU.
115 V AC is supplied from the GND/FLT busbar 212XP-C through the closed
circuit breaker 1DW to the control unit 3DW.
28 V DC is supplied from the GND/FLT busbar 602PP through the closed circuit
breaker 2DW to the control unit 3DW.
Control unit 3DW controls the related sensor and heaters installed on the
potable water lines.
115 V AC is supplied from the GND/FLT busbar 212XP-c through the closed
circuit breaker 8DU to the control unit 140DU.
28 V DC is supplied from the GND/FLT busbar 602PP through the closed circuit
breaker 9DU to the control unit 140DU.
Control unit 140DU controls the related sensor and heaters installed on the
drain line of the drain mast.
The sensor measures the temperature of the waste water drain lines
permamently, the control unit compares the measured values with the stored
reference values. When icing conditions occure the control unit will turn on
the power supply to the tape heating circuits.

**ON A/C 106-149, 211-299, 301-399,
A. BITE Test
R All control units of the waste water ice-protection-system are provided
R with an internal BITE test.
The BITE test function monitors the correct function of:
R - the control and monitor circuits
R - the connected heater elements (tapes)
R - the connected temperatur sensor
R - the internal solid states relays
R - the power supply of the system
- the interface connector.
You start the BITE test when you push the TEST pushbutton, located on the
top of the control unit.
Two Light Emmiting Diodes (LED) show the correct status of the system.
R The control units of the drainmast heating system are connected with
R three discrete lines to the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS),
R through a DEU-B.
R There is a test menu displayed on the CIDS Programming and Test Panel
R (PTP). This lets you start a BITE test of the drainmast heating system.
R R R R R R As a result you do not have to remove the sidewall panels installed in the forward and aft cargo compartments. When you initiate the test through the PTP, a 28 V DC signal starts the internal BITE test function of the related control units. Two LED GND signals, 'HEATER OK' and 'UNIT OK', show the correct status of the drainmast heating system.

B. Power-up Tests Initialization and Cockpit Repercussions
(1) Conditions of power-up test initialization - de-energization time of computer: 1 s. - A/C configaration: -whatever the A/C configuration is on ground
