A. Removal of the Ice Detector
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (3).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove the 6 screws (5).
(4)
Remove the ice detector (4).
(5)
Remove the seal (2).
(6)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.

4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Ice Detector
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the seal (2) in position on the detector (4).
(4)
Put the detector (4) in position on the structure (1).
(5)
Install the 6 screws (5) and tighten. NOTE : you must do the bonding with (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004):

the aft bolt and washer at the right side.
(6)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(7)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
