(1) Install the PHC (3).
(2) Install the screws (2) and the washers (1).
(3) Tighten the screws (2).
(4) Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): FOR 6DA1 1DA1, 2DA1, 3DA1, 4DA1, 5DA1 FOR 6DA2 1DA2, 2DA2, 3DA2, 4DA2, 5DA2 FOR 6DA3 2DA3, 3DA3, 4DA3, 5DA3

WINDSHIELD ANTI-ICING AND DEFOGGING - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION

1. General
_______ R The anti-icing and defogging system of the windshield keeps a clear R visibility through the windshield and windows in icing or foggy conditions. R This objective is achieved by electrical heating of the windshield and R windows. R The system is automatically started at engine start-up. A pushbutton switch R also controls operation of the system (pushbutton switch in ON R configuration). R The system is made up of two independent sub-systems, left and right. R Each sub-system controls heating of the windshield and windows located on R the same side with respect to the aircraft centerline. Each sub-system R includes: R - one windshield, R - two windows:
