(6) Disconnect the three wires of the heater elements (4) and (5) from the terminal strip.
NOTE : Identify all the electrical wires before you disconnect them.

Remove the waste-water de-icing sensor (40DU) (Ref. TASK 30-71-17-000-001).
(8)
Remove and discard the heat-shrink sleve (7) and the glass fiber tape
(6) that attaches the heater elements (4) and (5) to the waste water line.
NOTE : Do not damage the waste water line when you remove the

heat-shrink sleeve.
(9) Remove the heater elements (4) and (5).

Make sure that in the FWD cargo-compartment, the panels FOR 41DU, 42DU 131GW, 131HW, 131GF, 131FF, 131EF are removed.

THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
(a) Clean the waste water line (9) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001) and a lint free cloth.
(2)
Do a visual inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Put the heater elements (4) and (5) in position on the waste water line (9).
NOTE : The two heater elements are located on the two sides of the
____
waste water line.
(4) Attach the heater elements (4) and (5) to the waste water line with the BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-001) (6).
NOTE : Make sure that the heater elements (4) and (5) are correctly
