A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the FWD cargo-compartment door 825.

B. Get Access
(1)
Make sure that the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 is opened (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001).
(2)
Make sure that the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU is set to ON position.
(3)
In the cargo-compartment, make sure that the sidewall panel 132KW is removed.

4. Procedure

Subtask 30-73-34-420-050
A. Installation of the Potable and Waste Water Ice Protection Control Unit
(1)
Put the control unit (3) on the rack.
(2)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(3)
Push the control unit (3) fully into position. The mechanical pushbutton comes out with a click.
(4)
Connect the connector (4) to the control unit (3).
5. Close-up

A. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit
breaker(s): R 1DW, 2DW Subtask 30-73-34-740-051
B. Do the BITE test of the potable water ice-protection (Ref. TASK 30-73-00-740-001).

C. Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Install the sidewall panel 132KW.
(3)
Set the CARGO COMPT LIGHT switch 6LU to off.
(4)
Close the FWD cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5) Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 30-73-34-862-050
