Carefully remove and discard the adhesive tape (9) which is on the longitudinal cut of the insulation sleeve (10).

Remove the insulation sleeve (10) that insulates the waste water line.
(6)
Disconnect the three wires (5) of the heater elements (7) from the terminal strip.
NOTE : Identify all the electrical wires before you disconnect them.

If necessary, remove the waste-water de-icing sensor (141DU) (Ref. TASK 30-71-17-000-002).
(8)
Remove and discard the heat-shrink sleeve (8) and the glass fiber tape (6) that attaches the heater element (7) to the waste water line.
NOTE : Do not damage the waste water line when you remove the

heat-shrink sleeve.
(9) Remove the heater element (7).
