Install the icing indicator (3), the washer (2) and the nut (1). NOTE : Do an electrical bonding of the icing indicator (3) when you

install it.

TORQUE the nut (1).
(3)
Connect the electrical connector (6).
(4)
Attach the electrical cable (4) against the draining pipe (7) with the cable ties (5).

B. Sealant Application WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL

(1) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-019) around the lighted icing indicator base which touches the external surface of the retainer.

(2) Clean the external surfaces of the structure with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) to remove the remaining sealant from the structure.

A. Removal of the LED of the Lighted Icing Indicator
(1)
Loosen the cover (1) and remove it.
(2)
Remove the diffuser (2).
(3)
Remove and discard the LED (3) from its bracket (5).
(4) Remove and discard the seal (4).

B. Installation of the LED of the Lighted Icing Indicator R (1) Install a new seal (4) and a new LED (3) on the bracket (5).
(2) Install the diffuser (2).
