HYDRAULIC BRAKE ACCUMULATOR - SERVICING (GASEOUS)

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains a task to check the Hydraulic Brake Accumulator precharge and a procedure to increase the precharge pressure. You must charge the accumulator with nitrogen or dry air to service it.
B. Use the charging instructions marker adjacent to the manifold assembly to find the correct accumulator charge pressure for a given temperature.
C. Use the direct reading pressure gage adjacent to the accumulator for indication of accumulator pressure.

A. General
(1) In subsequent steps, the hydraulic brake accumulator is referred to as the accumulator.

Open the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut.

Operate the bleed valve on the reservoir pressurization module to release the pressure in the reservoir.
