 (g)  If the power drive unit has more oil than necessary, do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the fill plug with one of the two drain plugs from
 the bottom of the unit to drain the unwanted oil. 2) Install the drain plug. 3) Do steps (c) through (d) again. 4) Install the fill plug and the lockwire.

_______ LE FLAP SAFETY LOCKS. THE LE FLAPS CAN MOVE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT DO THE STEPS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Safety Lock Removal and Leading Edge Flap Activation" (Ref 27-81-00/201).

Move the ALTN FLAPS EXT/RET switch to RET position.

Move the ALTN FLAPS EXT/RET switch to OFF position.

Push the ALTN FLAPS ARM switch to set the flap system in the usual operation.

Do this task: "Electrical Power Removal" (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 TRAILING EDGE FLAP DRIVE SYSTEM - SERVICING (OIL REPLENISHING)

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is a task to fill the trailing edge flap transmission. There is also a task to fill the trailing edge flap alternate drive motors (if necessary).
 B.  The servicing of the trailing edge flap transmissions has these parts:
 (1)  
The extension of the outboard spoilers.

 (2)  
The extension of the trailing edge flaps

 (3)  
The removal of access panels.

 (4)  
The servicing of the transmissions

 (5)  
The installation of the access panels.

 (6)  
The retraction of the trailing edge flaps.

 (7)  
The retraction of the outboard spoilers.
