INBOARD TRANSMISSION (INBOARD FLAPS) SHOWN. THE OUTBOARD TRANSMISSION (INBOARD FLAPS) HAS THE FILLER PORT FOUND ON THE FORWARD SIDE. THE FILLER CAP AND THE FITTING IN THE FILLER PORT IS INSTALLED ON ONLY THE INBOARD TRANSMISSIONS. A THREADED PLUG IS USED TO CLOSE THE FILLER PORT ON THE OUTBOARD TRANSMISSIONS
FILL AS NECESSARY TO BRING THE OIL LEVEL ABOVE THE BOLT THAT ATTACHES THE FITTING TO THE FILLER PORT
LOCKWIRE THE FILLER CAP AFTER REPLACEMENT

A. Water System - Servicing has two tasks; fill the potable water tanks, and drain the water system.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open the cap for the fill fitting.

(3)
Connect the pressurized supply hose to the fill fitting.

Move the FILL VALVE switch to OPEN.

To fill the tanks fully (approximately 20 gallons):
(a) Use the pressurized supply hose to put drinkable water into the fill fitting until water comes from the overflow port.
NOTE: Stop the flow immediately when water appears at the

overflow port.

(6) For partial filling:
(a) Use the pressurized supply hose to put drinkable water into the fill fitting until the gage indicates the necessary quantity.

(7) Move the FILL VALVE switch to CLOSED when all of the unwanted water has been drained from the overflow fitting.
