E. Prepare to Fill the Transmissions

WARNING: OPEN CIRCUIT BREAKERS TO PREVENT RETRACTION OF THE SPOILERS.
_______ THE SPOILERS WILL RETRACT AUTOMATICALLY IF YOU USE THE SPEED BRAKE LEVER TO LIFT THE SPOILERS AND IF HYDRAULIC SYSTEM NO. 1 AND 4 ARE NOT PRESSURIZED. INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR IF THE SPOILERS RETRACT.
(1) Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7G6, SPEED BRAKE AUTO CONT
(b)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6J20, SPOILER/AIL SENSOR
2) 6J21, SPOILER/AIL IND

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2)
Do this task to pressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4:
"Hydraulic System Pressurization" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Put the speed brake control lever in the UP position to lift the spoilers.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

Put the flap control lever in the 30 unit detent to extend the trailing edge flaps.

Install the spoiler actuator locking tools to keep the control package in the extended position.

Do this task to depressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4: "Hydraulic System Depressurization" (AMM 29-11-00/201) or, if electrical power is on, put the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER switches to SHUT OFF and install a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

Remove these access panels for better access to the inboard flap transmissions (AMM 06-09-02/201):
(a) Access panels 572BB, 672BB, 572FB and 672FB.
F. Fill the Flap Transmissions

(1) Fill the flap transmissions with the oil (Fig. 301).
G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Initial Condition

(1) Install these access panels (AMM 06-09-02/201):
(a) Access panels 572BB, 672BB, 572FB and 672FB.

Do this task to pressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4: "Hydraulic System Pressurization" (AMM 29-11-00/201) or remove the DO-NOT-OPERATE tag and put the FLT CONTROL HYD SHUTOFF switch to NORM.
