(12)
After several landings, measure dimension X and the pressure. If they are not in the band on the servicing chart, add or release gas until they are in the band.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(13) Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
TASK 12-15-05-603-071
3. Shock Strut Servicing Fast Check________________________________
A. General
(1)
This task provides a fast check of the Nose landing gear shock strut. This check will help you determine if the strut is serviceable for dispatch. It must be completed at or near dispatch weight. It is not accurate at or near empty weight.
(2)
This task also provides steps to do the minimum servicing necessary to allow the airplane to dispatch.

S 223-072
CAUTION: DO A FULL SERVICING TO THE LANDING GEAR ON ALL AIRPLANES WHICH
_______ DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FAST CHECK PROCEDURE CORRECTLY. DO NOT DO THE SERVICING WITH THE DIMENSIONS OF THE FAST CHECK AS AN ALTERNATIVE FOR A FULL SERVICING. A LANDING GEAR WHICH HAS INCORRECT SERVICING CAN HAVE A FAILURE DURING OPERATION.
(1) Do a fast check of the nose landing gear:
(a)
Make sure there is no evidence of major fluid leakage.
(b)
Make sure the differences between the extended length of the inner cylinder is not more than 2 inches (50.8mm).
(c)
Make sure the inner cylinder has a minimum extension of 1 inch (25.4mm) of chrome for the shock strut.
(d)
Read the pressures from the pressure gage on the shock strut.
NOTE: The pressure gage on the shock strut can be
____ sufficiently accurate for the strut servicing. But, you can use the gage on the servicing equipment for more accuracy.
(e)
Calculate the pressure differences for the shock strut on the landing gear.
(f)
Make sure the pressure difference is not more than the values in the table.
~...................................................... | LANDING GEAR | MAXIMUM PRESSURE DIFFERENCE (PSI) | ........................................................ | Wing gear | 150 | | Body gear | 150 | | All Main Gear | 400 | 2................….....................................1
S 203-066
(2) If the airplane has all the conditions given above, permit the airplane to dispatch.

(3) If the airplane does not have all the conditions given above after the first fast check, do these steps:
(a)
Add or release pressure to the necessary shock struts to get them to a point in the servicing band (Refer to the applicable shock strut servicing placards).
NOTE: Do not permit a shock strut to have less than 1 inch (25.4mm) of extension (visible chrome), measured from the lower surface of the shock strut outer cylinder. 中国航空网 www.aero.cn 航空翻译 www.aviation.cn 本文链接地址:747-400 AMM 飞机维护手册 SERVICING 1(77)
