E. Find the Tire Service Pressure
NOTE: Figure 301 contains the Tire Pressure Limit Chart for the nose
____ landing gear. Figure 302 contains the Tire Pressure Limit Chart for the main landing gear.
S 973-018
CAUTION: TO OPERATE AT A HIGHER GROSS WEIGHT, ADJUST THE TIRE PRESSURE
_______ AS SHOWN IN THE TIRE PRESSURE LIMIT CHARTS. DAMAGE TO THE TIRES WILL OCCUR IF THE TIRE PRESSURE IS NOT CORRECT FOR THE AIRPLANE GROSS WEIGHT.
(1) Use the Tire Pressure Limit charts to find an applicable tire pressure for the main and nose gear tires for the in-service maximum taxi gross weight. If the airplane is usually operated at less than the maximum gross weight (for example, pilot training), you can lower the pressure as shown in the Tire Pressure Limit charts. The maximum pressure shown on the Tire Pressure Limit charts can be used at all gross weights.

(2) Use the same pressure in all of the main tires and the same pressure in all of the nose tires.
F. Tire Pressure Check
NOTE: Figure 301 contains the Tire Pressure Limit Chart for the nose
____ landing gear. Figure 302 contains the Tire Pressure Limit Chart for the main landing gear.
S 863-009
(1)
Let the tire cool for a minimum of 2 hours after a flight.
S 613-010
(2)
Use an accurate gage to do a tire pressure check.
S 613-011
(3)
Compare the measured pressure with the tire pressure you found in the Tire Service Pressure Limit Charts and do the applicable steps that follow:
(a)
If the tire pressure is less than the specified pressure by no more than 5 percent, inflate the tire to the specified pressure. It is not necessary to do more checks.
(b)
If the tire pressure is between 5 percent and 10 percent less than the specified pressure, do the steps that follow:
WARNING: USE A REGULATED PRESSURE SOURCE TO SERVICE THE TIRES.
_______ AN UNREGULATED PRESSURE SOURCE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
1) Inflate the tire to the specified pressure. 2) Do a check of the pressure again after 24 hours. 3) If the tire pressure is more than 5 percent below the
specified pressure again, do these steps: a) Replace the wheel and tire assembly (AMM 32-45-01/401 and AMM 32-45-02/401).
