_______ CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER TO QUICKLY BEGIN THE REFUEL OPERATION AGAIN (AMM 28-21-00/201). WITHOUT OVERFILL PROTECTION A FUEL SPILL CAN OCCUR. A FUEL SPILL CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION.

Monitor the fuel flow meter.

Stop the upload at the fuel sheet requirements.

 G. Put the Airplane Back to the Usual Condition

 WARNING: MAKE SURE TO CLOSE THE FUEL OVERFILL CONTROL CIRCUIT BREAKER.
_______ IF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER IS NOT CLOSED, THE OVERFILL PROTECTION SYSTEM IS DISABLED. THERE IS NO INDICATION FOR A DISABLED OVERFILL PROTECTION SYSTEM. IF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER IS OPENED DURING A SUBSEQUENT OVERFILL CONDITION, FUEL CAN OVERFLOW THE SURGE TANK AND A FUEL SPILL CAN OCCUR. A FUEL SPILL CAN CAUSE A FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION.
 (1)  Close this circuit breaker and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag (if opened):
 (a)  P415 Power Distribution Center - Right 1) 415M14 FUEL OVERFILL CONTROL

Make a logbook entry of the overfill condition.

 (3)  
Schedule a maintenance task to troubleshoot and repair the cause of the overfill condition (FIM 28-21-00/101).

 5.  Refuel Operation - Fuel Spill Condition_______________________________________
 A. General
 (1)  
Do this procedure if there is a fuel spill during a refueling operation.

 (2)  
When fuel enters the surge tanks, the overfill protection system commands the fuel quantity processor unit (FQPU) to close all of the refuel valves. If the overfill protection system is inoperative or the overfill condition can not be controlled by refuel valve position a fuel spill can occur.

 (3)  
Troubleshooting for this condition is given in this FIM procedure:


 (a)  Overfill or Overboard Fuel Spill During a Refuel Operation (FIM 28-21-00/101).

 (1)  Read and obey the precautions in this task: Precautions and Limits for Fuel Servicing (AMM 12-11-01/301).
 E. Stop the Refuel Operation When a Fuel Spill Occurs

 (1)  
If a fuel spills occurs, release the deadman switch to stop the fuel flow.

Put the ALL VALVES switch to the CLOSED position (if opened).

Put the individual refuel valve switches to the CLOSED position (if opened).
