AMM 32-45-02/401). 2) Send the wheel and tire for an inspection to find the cause for the low tire pressure.
(d)
If the tire pressure is more than 20 percent below the necessary tire pressure, do these steps: 1) Replace the tire and wheel assembly (AMM 32-45-01/401 and
AMM 32-45-02/401). a) Send the wheel and tire for an inspection to find the cause for the low tire pressure.
2) If the wheel and tire assembly has turned with the airplane weight on it after the pressure has decreased, replace the wheel and tire assembly installed on the opposite side of that axle. a) Mark on the tire that it was on the the same axle with
a wheel and tire assembly that was replaced because of low tire pressure. b) Send the tire for inspection for damage.
G. Tire Pressure Check - Hot Tire
NOTE: Figure 301 contains the Tire Pressure Chart for the nose
____ landing gear. Figure 302 contains the Tire Pressure Limit Chart for the main landing gerar.
S 783-158
(1) Measure all main gear tire pressures with a calibrated gauge and record the values.
NOTE: If there are no system amonalies (Antiskid, Autobrake,
____ ect), all tires can be assumed to be at approximately the same temperature.

(2)
Make sure all tire pressures are above the minimun "cold" specified pressure for the airplane's gross weight conditions.
S 783-160
(3)
If one tire has pressure substantially lower that the other fifteen, calculate the average tire pressure of the fifteen tires.
S 783-161
(4)
If the low tire is 5% - 10% less that the average, inflate the tire with nitrogen to the average value of the other tires.
NOTE: Do not deflate a tire to lower the pressure to the average
____
pressure value.
S 783-162
(5) If the low tire is more that 10% below the average of the other tires, do these steps:
(a)
Replace the wheel and tire assembly.
(b)
Send the wheel and tire assembly for an inspection to find the cause for the low tire pressure.
S 783-165
(6) If the low tire is more that 20% below the average of the other tires, do these steps:
(a)
Replace the wheel and tire assembly.
(b)
Send the wheel and tire assembly for an inspection to find the cause for the low tire pressure.
(c)
Replace the wheel and tire assembly installed on the opposite side of that axle. 1) Mark on the tire that it was on the same axle with a wheel
and tire assembly that was replaced because of low tire pressure and send it for inspection for damage.
H. Initially Inflate the Tire
NOTE: Make sure you use the hand held pressure gage to measure the
____ pressure when you inflate the tire. Do not use the TPIS, if installed, to measure the pressure when you inflate the tire.
S 493-012
(1) Use the instructions on the tire inflation tool and install the tool.

WARNING:_______INITIALLY FILL THE TIRE WITH NITROGEN. A HOT TIRE THAT IS FILLED WITH AIR WILL MAKE EXPLOSIVE GASES. IF YOU FILL THE TIRE WITH AIR, AN EXPLOSION CAN OCCUR AND CAUSE INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
WARNING:_______USE A REGULATED PRESSURE SOURCE TO SERVICE THE TIRES. AN UNREGULATED PRESSURE SOURCE CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2)
Inflate the tire with nitrogen to the pressure in the Tire Pressure Limit charts.
