_______ STRUT (THRUST CONTROL CABLE, THRUST REVERSER FEEDBACK PUSH-PULL CABLES, THRUST CONTROL PUSH-PULL CABLES AND STRUT CONTROL BOX) FROM MOISTURE. MOISTURE THAT COLLECTS CAN CAUSE ICE FORMATION.
 CAUTION: THE THRUST REVERSER MUST BE CLOSED DURING SERVICING TO PREVENT

 DAMAGE TO THE POWER UNIT.

 (1)  
Remove the forward fairing (AMM 54-62-04/401).

 (2)  
Make sure that the thrust reverser is in the closed position before servicing the power unit.

 (3)  
Do a check of the fluid level in the fluid level sight plug (2) to determine if the fluid level is low.

 F. Fill the Power Unit with Hydraulic Fluid
 S 013-005
 (1)  
Remove the filler plug (1).

 (2)  
While you look into the fluid level sight plug (2), add the hydraulic fluid and fill the tank to the applicable hot or cold full mark.

 NOTE: The power unit is hot if it has been cycled before servicing.

 (a)  If you are not certain whether the power unit is hot or cold, do the steps that follow: 1) Fill to the cold mark. 2) Install the filler plug (1). 3) Open and close the thrust reverser. 4) Fill to the hot mark.

Lubricate a new "O" ring seal and install the seal on the filler plug (1).

Install the filler plug (1) and tighten to 100-130 pound-inches.

 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 AUXILIARY POWER UNIT - SERVICING (OIL REPLENISHING)

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure has the task to fill the APU oil tank. The load gearbox is the APU oil tank. The oil filler cap is located on the top right side of the APU oil tank. A chain is attached from the inner APU oil tank to the oil filler cap to keep the oil filler cap with the APU. You can get access to the oil filler cap through the two APU access doors.
 B.  There are two sight glasses for the oil level on the right side of the APU oil tank. The top sight glass is the oil full indicator. The bottom sight glass is the oil add indicator.
 C.  The total capacity of the APU oil tank is 4.81 U.S. gallons (18.2 liters). The oil quantity that can be used is 4.2 U.S. gallons (15.9 liters).
 D.  If it is necessary to change the APU oil to a different type or brand name of oil, do this task: Flush the APU Oil Tank (AMM 12-22-02/301).
 E.  Use only these types and brands of oil:
