A. Removal of the Air Intake Duct
(1)
Remove the air intake flap (Ref. TASK 49-16-43-000-003).
(2)
Remove the air intake nose (Ref. TASK 49-16-44-000-003).
(3)
Remove the screws (2) and the seal assembly from the air intake duct (1).
(4)
Remove the nuts (10), the washers (11), the distance washers (16) and the bolts (13).
(5)
Remove the brackets (12) and the flexible seal (14) from the flange (15).
(6)
Remove the bolts (9), the washers (8) and the screws (19).
(7)
Remove the bolts (4) and the washers (3).
(8)
Remove the nuts (5), the bolts (7) and the washers (6).
(9)
Remove the top flange (17) and the bottom flange (18) from the air intake duct (1).
(10)
Hold the air intake duct (1) and remove the bolts (21) and (22) and the washers (20) and (23).
(11)
Remove the air intake duct (1).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
