(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.

A. Installation of the Inlet Guide Vane-Actuator
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Extend the IGV actuator (6).
(5)
Connect the captive bolt (10), and secure the IGV actuator (5) to the operating linkage (8).
(6)
TORQUE the captive bolt (10) to 0.57 m.daN (50.44 lbf.in)
(7)
Install IGV actuator to the APU with the bolts (13) and washers (12).
(8)
TORQUE the bolts (13) to 1.357 m.daN (10.00 lbf.ft)
(9)
Apply a thin coating of OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-rings.
(10) Put the new

O-rings (4) on the fuel pipe (3);
-
O-rings (15) on the fuel pipe (16);
-
O-rings (17) on the fuel pipe (18).
