B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration.
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is Off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).

Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the On position.

A. APU Preservation
(1) Oil system procedure
(a) Do the oil change procedure (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-005)
-service the oil tank with a mixture of approved APU Engine Oil OILS (Material No. 03-003) and 7 percent (by volume) corrosion preventive additive (Material No. CP5075).
- or with a mixture of approved APU Engine Oil OILS (Material No. 03-003) and 5 percent (by volume) lube system corrosion preventive oil (Material CP5067).
(b) Run the APU for 5 minutes (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-005) and (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-006).
(2) Fuel System Procedure
(a) Disconnection of fuel supply CAUTION : DO NOT PUT HYDROCARBON FUEL(S)/OIL(S) INTO THE ENGINE

COMPRESSOR. THEY CAN BURN SUDDENLY AND DAMAGE THE APU.
1_ Disconnect the fuel pump inlet tube from the fuel control unit
(FCU) (Ref. TASK 49-32-11-000-002).
