On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.

Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.

Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(7)
Make sure that the LIGHT control switch 11LJ is set to the on position.

A. Installation of the Sensor
(1)
Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-012) to the new packing (1).
(2)
Install the new seal (1) on the sensor (2).
(3)
Put the sensor (2) in position on the APU compressor discharge duct.
(4)
Install the sensor (2) with one of the bolts (4).
(5)
Install the bonding lead (5) with the remaining bolt (4) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
(6)
TORQUE the bolts (4) to 40 lbf.in (0.45 m.daN).
(7)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(8)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(9)
Connect the electrical connector P29 (3) to the sensor (2). Subtask 49-23-16-865-056

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.
