A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the on position.
(4)
Open the access door 314AR.
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Air Intake Duct
(1)
Remove the air intake flap (Ref. TASK 49-16-43-000-002).
(2)
Remove the air intake nose (Ref. TASK 49-16-44-000-002).
(3)
Remove the screws (25) and the nuts (31), the washers (30) and the screws (28).
(4)
Remove the seal assembly from the air intake duct (1).
(5)
Remove the nuts (6), the washers (11) (15), the distance washers (32) and the bolts (10).
(6)
Remove the frame (12) and the seal (13) from the flange (14).
(7)
Remove the bolts (24), the washers (23) and the screws (28).
(8)
Remove the screws (26) and the screws (27).
(9)
Remove the bolts (18) and the washers (19) from the anchor nuts.
(10)
Remove the top flange (20) and the bottom flange (29) from the air intake duct (1).
(11)
Hold the air intake duct (1) and remove the bolts (6), (5) and (3) and the washers (4) and (2).
(12)
Remove the air intake duct (1).
