(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

If the service panel was removed put it in position on the service frame and lock the 22 stud fasteners.
(3)
Close the maintenance door 314AR.
(4)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(5)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.
(6)
Close the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(7)
Remove the access platform(s).

Remove and discard the cotter pin (3).
(b)
Remove the castle nut (4), the washer (5) the bolt (6) and disconnect the actuator spindle (1) from the air intake flap (8).
(2) Hold the air intake flap (8), remove the screws (7) and then the air intake flap (8) from the air inlet duct (2).
