 Install the IGV actuator (8014KM) as in paras. (5) to (9).

 Install the load compressor temperature sensor (8011KM) (Ref. TASK 49-23-15-400-001).

 Remove the blanking plugs from the fuel pipes.

 Apply a thin layer of lubricant OILS (Material No. 03-002) to the new O-rings (10) and O-rings (8).

 Install the new o-rings (10) to the fuel pipe (9).

 (21)
 Install the new o-rings (8) to the fuel pipe (7).

 (22)
 Connect the fuel pipes (7) and (9) to the inlet guide vane-actuator (8014KM) (11).

 (23)
 Install the plate (5) which attaches the fuel pipes (7) and (9) to the inlet guide vane-actuator (8014KM) (11).

 (24)
 Install and tighten the screws (6).

 (25)
 Connect the fuel drain pipe (4) to the inlet guide vane-actuator (8014KM) (11).

 Tighten the fuel drain pipe (4).

 (27)
 Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connection and connect the electrical connection (12).

 If the inlet plenum lower half duct was removed for access install it

 

 

 

 as follows:
 (a)
 Make sure that the inlet plenum lower half duct seal is in good condition.

 (b)
 Install the inlet plenum lower half duct and seal on the APU power casing, make sure that the marks made on the casing and duct halves during removal are in alignment.

 (c)
 Attach the four clips on the lower and upper plenum halves.

 (d)
 Connect the electrical connector P22 to the inlet duct pressure switch and the four cable clips that support the wiring harness.

 B. Installation of the bottom Load-Compressor Containment-Shield (if previously removed)
 (1)
 Move the notched end of bottom load-compressor containment-shield

 (22) carefully past the witness drain tube and under the LCIT wiring.

 (2)
 Adjust the load-compressor containment shield to align the shield spacer with the bleed-duct assy bolt (18) hole.

 (3)
 Loosely attach the load-compressor containment shield (22) with the bolts (18) and (23).

 (4)
 Make sure that the L-bracket (24) overlaps the outer diameter of the load-compressor containment-shield (22). Tighten the bolt (25).

 (5)
 Attach the bolts (19) and (26).

 (6)
 Install the clamp (20) of the LCIT wiring with bolt (21).

 (7)
 Torque all bolts to 80 lbf.in (0.90 m.daN).

 (8)
 Install the electrical connections of the LCIT sensor.

 C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD.

 E. Inspect the APU (4005KM)

 Make sure that the IGV's are fully closed. If the IGV's are not fully closed, repeat the linkage adjustment procedure.

 (2)
 Examine the IGV actuator (8014KM) and the fuel pipes for the fuel leaks.


 NOTE : No leaks are permitted.

 (1)
 Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.

 (2)
 Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the OFF position.

 (3)
 Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

 (4)
 Remove the access platform(s).
