Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

D. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control SW 11LJ to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Removal of the IGV Actuator.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connection (6).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Put the container 2.0 L in position below the inlet guide vane-actuator.
(4)
Loosen the captive bolts (1).
(5)
Turn the captive plate (2) to release the fuel pipes (3) and (16).
(6)
Disconnect the fuel pipes (3), (16) and (18) from the inlet guide vane-actuator.
(7)
Remove and discard the O-rings (4), (15) and (17).
(8)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(9)
Loosen the bolts (9) and turn the cover (11).
(10)
Loosen the captive bolt (10) to disconnect the IGV eye end (7) from the IGV actuation rod (8).
(11)
Remove the bolts (13), the washers (12) and remove the IGV actuator
(5) from the APU.
