3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Make sure that the light SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Load Compressor-Discharge Temperatur-Sensor (8012KM)
(1)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Install the load compressor-discharge temperature-sensor (8012KM) (5) with the bolts (4).
(4)
Install a new packing (6) on the load compressor-discharge temperature-sensor (8012KM) (5).
(5)
TORQUE the bolts (4) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(6)
Remove the blanking caps.
(7)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(8)
Connect the electrical connections (3) with the washers (2) and the nuts (1).
(9)
TORQUE the larger of the two nuts (1) to 0.34 m.daN (30.08 lbf.in).
(10)
TORQUE the smaller of the two nuts (1) to 0.23 m.daN (20.35 lbf.in). Subtask 49-23-16-865-052
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

(3)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).
(4)
Remove the access platform(s).
(5)
Remove the warning notice(s). Subtask 49-23-16-865-057
B.
Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):
