B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s):

D. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the access doors 315AL and 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT SW 11LJ to the ON position.
(4)
Put a container in position of the flow divider and drain-valve assy.
4. Procedure

A. APU Preservation
(1) Disconnection of fuel supply CAUTION : DO NOT PUT HYDROCARBON FUEL(S)/OIL(S) INTO THE ENGINE
_______ COMPRESSOR. THEY CAN BURN SUDDENLY AND DAMAGE THE APU.
(a) Disconnect the main fuel supply pipe from the solenoid (Ref. TASK 49-32-13-000-001).
(2)
Let the fuel drain into the container.
(3)
Disconnection of electrical supply WARNING : DISCONNECT THE LOW TENSION ELECTRICAL SUPPLY 5 MINUTES
_______ BEFORE YOU START WORK ON THE IGNITION SYSTEM. ALSO, GROUND THE IGNITER LEAD WITH AN INSULATED DEVICE AS YOU DISCONNECT IT FROM THE IGNITER PLUG. HIGH CURRENT AND VOLTAGE, WHICH ARE USED IN THE IGNITION SYSTEM, CAN KILL YOU.
(a) Disconnect the electrical connector P10 from the ignition unit (Ref. TASK 49-41-38-000-003).
