B. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform in position below the APU compartment.
(2)
Open the maintenance door 314AR.
(3)
Release the 22 stud fasteners and remove the catwalk panel from the service panel.

A. Removal of the Air Intake Actuator
(Ref. Fig. 201/TASK 49-16-51-991-003)
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (18).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Remove the screw (20), the washer (19) and disconnect the bonding jumper (21).
(4)
Remove the clamp (11) and push the bellows (12) down.
(5)
Remove and discard the cotter pins (1) and (17).
(6)
Remove the castle nut (16), the washers (15), (9A) and the bolt (10).
(7)
Remove the castle nut (2), the washers (3) and (4) and the bolt (5).
(8)
Remove the air-intake flap actuator (6).
