A. Removal of the bottom Load-Compressor Containment Shield (if installed)
(1) Remove the nuts (4) and (5), the washers (3) and (6) which attach the electrical connectors (7) to the load-compressor inlet temperature-sensor (8011KM) (1).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connectors (7).
(3) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4) Remove the bolt (12) and the clamp (13) from the bottom load-compressor containment shield (14). Keep the clamp (13) on the LCIT wiring.
(5) Remove the bolts (15) and (18).
(6) Loosen the bolt (17) of the L-bracket (16).
(7) Remove the bolts (10) and (11).
(8) Carefully remove the bottom load-compressor containment-shield (14).

B. Removal of the Load-Compressor Inlet Temperature-Sensor (8011KM)
(1) Disconnection of electrical connectors (if not previously disconnected)
(a) Remove the nuts (4) and (5), the washers (3) and (6) which attach the electrical connectors (7) to the load-compressor inlet temperature-sensor (8011KM) (1).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(3)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Install the bolts (2).
(6)
TORQUE the bolts (2) to 0.56 m.daN (49.55 lbf.in).
(7)
Installation of the Electrical Connectors NOTE : Steps (a) to (d) are only valid if no load-compressor
