A. Removal of the IGV Actuator

_______ COMPONENTS AND LINES. IF YOU USE TAPE, CLOTH, OR METAL CAPS ON THEM, YOU CAN DAMAGE THE APU.

CES CAUTION : YOU MUST USE TWO WRENCHES AND HOLD THE COMPONENT WHEN YOU
_______ REMOVE/INSTALL THE PIPE COUPLINGS AND/OR UNIONS. THIS PREVENTS DAMAGE TO THE COMPONENT.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector P21 (2) from the actuator (1).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(3)
Put a container below the actuator to catch the residual fuel.
(4)
Disconnect the tubes (3), (10) and (11) from the actuator (1).
(5)
Remove the quick-disconnect pin (6) from the actuator support (5). or remove the screw (9) and the bracket (8) and then the quick-disconnect pin (6) from the actuator support (5).
(6)
Loosen and remove the V-band clamp (4) and remove the actuator (1).

(1)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch is off.
(2)
Make sure that there is a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(3)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the APU compartment.
(5)
Make sure that the APU access doors are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(6)
Make sure that the LIGHT control switch 11LJ is set to the on position.

A. Installation of the IGV Actuator CAUTION : -YOU MUST NOT INCREASE THE TIGHTENING TORQUE MORE THAN THE
_______ MAXIMUM VALUE. -APPLY ALL TIGHTENING TORQUES WITH A TORQUE WRENCH OR A CALIBRATED SCREWDRIVER.
CAUTION : DO NOT TORQUE THE V-CLAMP(S) TO MORE THAN THE SPECIFIED VALUE.

YOU CAN DAMAGE THE FLANGE SURFACES IF YOU DO.
(1)
Put the V-band clamp (4) in position on the APU mounting flange.
(2)
Position the actuator alignment pin with the hole in the mounting flange and install the actuator (1).
(3)
Secure the clamp (4).
(4)
Install the quick disconnect pin (6) in the actuator support (5). or Install the quick disconnect pin (6) in the actuator support (5) and install the bracket (8) with the srew (9).
(5)
Install the tubes (3), (10) and (11) on the actuator (1).
(6)
TORQUE the tube connector (3) to between 90 and 100 lbf.in (1.01 and
